Inter-County Invitation Gala – Fenton Leisure Centre, Stoke on Trent
Sunday 31st January 2010 – 2.30pm start (warm up 2.00pm)
Hi all please can you circulate this among your swimmers and parents and put on your websites, this team has been picked using the rankings up till the weekend of Shrewsbury open, we have picked a team that we feel can do well and tried to consider all options. It is hard and as often we find out after the event that the ASA rankings are not always correct but I still feel this is the fairest method rewarding those that regularly compete at opens. We have tried to make the team selection as transparent as possible for the past 2 ½ years . Please could the clubs and or parents confirm availability direct to me.
I will be speaking to Steve Danny and Catherine and the County ASA about the swimmers who support the county but have not met Nathan’s and Mark’s criteria to see if we can offer them any training camps during 2010 to support their development. Please confirm if you would be happy to see some further training offered so we can gauge the feeling across the clubs. Thank you to all the swimmers parents and club’s that have supported Steve Danny Catherine and myself this year, wishing you all a Merry Christmas.
